Christian education begins on Sunday morning at 9:15am.
Everyone enjoys fellowship around food, and every Sunday we offer Munchies at 10:00 a.m. until traditional worship begins, and during the school year, we have Potluck Dinners on Sundays following worship, at about 12:00 noon. We also have a potluck dinner on Friday evenings at about 5:40 p.m., prior to playing Mexican Train Dominoes.
Our Choir is open to all who enjoy singing, from sixth grade on up. Our Choir meets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and sings at our 10:30 a.m. worship each Sunday.
Every Friday we have "Fun & Games" when we play Mexican Train Dominoes. This event has been taking place for about 9 years now. Each individual or family brings a food dish to share, as we have potluck dinner each time. We gather at 5:30 or earlier, and eat at about 5:45. We begin playing dominoes at about 6:15 and usually wind things up prior to 9:00 p.m. Those with younger children who can be alone for a while, often bring their favorite V or Video and the children entertain themselves in an adjacent room.
Trinity Men's Group
It is the goal and mission of the Men's Group at Trinity Presbyterian Church to support the members and friends of the church as disciples of Jesus, filling needs through caring, love and faith. We are committed to one another, to our pastor and to our church leadership to support, nurture, and have a positive influence on the church family, the community, and the future of Trinity.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday mornings at Carole's restaurant in Shell Knob for fellowship and breakfast at 8:00 AM. Every month that has five Tuesdays, we invite the Ladies of Trinity to join us as our guests for breakfast at a specified time and restaurant.
Trinity Women's Group
The Women's Group meet at the church once a month on the third Wednesday. We meet at 9:00 A.M. until approximately 11:30 A.M. All ladies are invited to go to the Senior Center for lunch to help support the center.
We work on projects such as lap robes for those patients who are in wheel chairs. They are crocheted, knitted or quilted. These are donated to the hospice group in Arkansas and Missouri. We have made baby afghans for the babies in the nursery at the St. John's hospital in Berryville.
The group knitted or crocheted hats for the troups in Iraq. We welcome other ideas for projects.
This is a very informal and friendly group of ladies. All ladies are welcome to join. There are no fees or dues. |
