The Mooney Mite

Here are a couple of pictures.  I drew up plans from one of the 17, M-18 C-55 Mite's, left flying.  It was in a hanger in St. Joe, Mo. and belonged to a Col. in the Air National Guard.  I used to sell plans and canopy for this model but have sold them all.  If there is enough interest, would run off a few more.  If interested then email me ... shirl@mo-net.com .... Both models are about 10 years old now and still flying.  The blue one has the original O.S. 120 and featured poster board formers in the fuselage with white foam wing and tail feathers.  Sheeted and then fiberglassed.  The red one on the right was all cut from white foam, then sheeted and fiberglassed.  It weighs about a half a pound more and sports an O.S. 160 twin. It is a screamer!

Pictured to the right is the real one I modeled one of my models from.  It belongs to Glenn Bell.  If you are a Mite Freak then check out this great REAL Mooney site.  He is trying to gather all info on all Mite's ever manufactured and a nice guyReal Mite's
