Photo #1 -Rear cockpit coaming finished. Photo #2 -Front cockpit coaming finished. Photo #3 -Both done. Use leather instead of cheap vinyl. Do as I say, not as I did. Photo #4 -The top wing gap covers will never wrap perfectly around the wing. If you are 1/64th of an inch off on the leading edges of each wing part then they will not meet perfectly at the trailing edge. Therefore you have to make templates and then cut each one individually to fit. I used 4" wide .010 aluminum roof flashing, then cut it to size so that it ended up 3" across. Photo #5 -Dress rehearsal and weight and balance time. I weighed it without the wheel pants and it weighs 780 empty. Paint and covering only added 59 lbs. or 108% of the framed weight. Bottom Row
