Photo #1 - This is the bottom of the left lower wing showing the aileron push rod exit (that will be covered) and 3 inspection rings and recessed covers. Wing is now completed with rib stitching and surface tapes and ready for primer. Photo #2 -An inside the wing shot that shows all of the rib stitches. Photo #3 -This shows my hermetically sealed driveway paint booth. My traffic count out front is 3.27 cars per day and seldom any wind over 10 mph. By shooting in the morning the bugs are still asleep but I still have tweezers in one hand and the paint gun in the other. Using Chicago Pneumatics' (Harbor Freight Tools) HVLP gravity feed gun and am impressed. For about $40 it puts very little paint in the air and a lot of paint on the surface. I am really impressed with Superflight's System V1 polyurethane paint. This photo shows the wings as they are receiving 4 coats of primer. Then they will get 2 coats of color and I am done. Photo #4 -Bottom of left elevator with finish coat of white. Nice wet look and after it sets up, as shown, it can hardly be sanded. It is that tough. Photo #5 -Finally finished something. The tail section is done and ready to fly. Bottom Row
