My Book

Top Row
Photo #1 -Cowling is finished, got my UHS spinner and the wheel pants.  So I just had to put it all together (even though I had to prop up the wheel pant) and see what it looked like.  Then found a similar photo of my model and merged them together.  Pretty close.  Suppose I should enter it in a scale model contest ?
Photo #2 -A better view of the cowl, spinner, prop and wheel pant.
Photo #3 -A firewall bracket with battery cable inserted.  The next 4 photo's show the process of making one.
Photo #4,5 -From the Tony Bengalis book, Firewall Forward, he tells how to make one of these brackets. The photo's tell the story.

Bottom Row
Photo #1, 2 -Continuation of making the brackets
Photo #3 -All wires that need to come through the firewall are now poking through.  This is the left side as viewed from the cockpit.
Photo #4 -Same deal except from the right side.  Here you can see the remotely mounted Oil Pressure sending unit as well as the Master Relay.
Photo #5 -The finished version of my instrument panel.  Still need to tidy up some wires behind it, but for now I have finished the wiring and everything seems to work so now I can finish up the fuselage, put in the tank, fuel shut off, front windscreen, etc.

Now have about 2300 hours in the project, but soon will be covering and painting.
