Top Row
Photo #1 & 2 -Fuel tank is now finished.  Photo 2 shows the value of a cardboard mockup for all those complicated bends.  Photo 1 is a nice view showing the 3/8" vent at the top.  If I were to do it all again I would make a fiberglass tank.  I was satisfied with the heli-arc job even though it was expensive.  Again Don Aven from the local airport was a huge help in getting these bends.  I laid them out and he worked the bending brake.  The front of the tank is on the left in photo #1.  The bottom slants down and forward.  I put two baffles in the tank.  One running fore and aft and the other slotted into that one that goes from side to side.  15 gallons of fuel will weigh close to 95 pounds so figured I needed something to slow down the slosh.

NOTE:One of my main recommendations at this point is to learn to weld and have your engine before you ever start.  My engine is still not finished a year after it was to have been completed.  Big time run around by everyone and may end up in court before it is finally done.  Give everyone the benefit of the doubt ONCE.  After that lose your sense of humor and become a jerk.  You are far better off doing everything you can, yourself.

Photo #3. 4 & 5 -Made the tank straps and will install the tank tomorrow from the bottom up. Pictures have text explanations you can see when you enlarge them.

Bottom Row
Photo #1 -A close up of the tank installation and my cheap roll over jig that is attached to the motor mount.
Photo #2 -Got the Primer, Ignition switch, cigarette lighter (for auxillary stuff) mounted and one end of the primer tubing attached.  I will need to re-design my tank straps that go underneath as the way I have it set up now it is nearly impossible to get the tank in and out through the bottom. Problem later solved.
Photo #3 & 4-Left brake line with a 90 deg. fitting on the caliper.  Short and sweet.  The entire L.G. strut will be covered and hide the brake line.

Photo #5 -A temporary photo taken in our front yard.  Explains in great detail why the garage is too cold to work in.
