Top Row
Photo #1 -This show one of 3 compression ribs in each wing panel. 3/4 sq. spruce.
Photo #2 -Right top wing panel finished - almost.
Photo #3 -When no one is around and you want to see what it looks like you improvise.  I knew there was a reason I have kept this old van.
Photo #4 -Man that looks cool.
Photo #5 -After the left top wing was finished I realized I needed pictures of the stut attach bracket and the landing wire attach straps.  Also shows aileron hinging and the aileron horn that will slave to the bottom wing.

Bottom Row
Photo #1 -A closer look and I also decided I needed something to attach covering to in this area, so I glued in some ply plates.
Photo #2 -This was my first idea on the panel but as you can see in the next picture I changed it.
Photo #3 -In my effort to imitate the 30's look to this airplane, I decided to swirl the instrument panel.  It took all day because I didn't know how to do it so had to try several different ideas on scrap.  Ended up laying out a pencil grid on this panel of 8 million small squares then used a piece of 300 grit wet-dry sand paper that was super glued to a dremel polishing brush.  Then each swirl was hand done.  Came out pretty good.  Needs some more polishing.
Photo #4 -Here is the way it looks in the cockpit.  Spiffy.
Photo #5 -Time to start the fuel tank.  Next page shows the finished product and more explanation.
