Mr. T at home

Mr. T takes a vacation

Mr. T joined the Rackowitz family On Christmas Day in 1983. Mr. T has always been a playful fellow. He appears when and where you least expect him. We have found him hanging from the curtain rods, sleeping in our beds, and peeking in our windows from the snowy outside. Mr. T retired to our basement in 1989 when we moved to Canton, Michigan.

During the Christmas season of 1995 he came out of retirement to greet his old friend Todd. During that brief period he went back to his old tricks. He first appeared hanging on a plant hanger between the kitchen and the family room. Later, with Todd's help, he took a ride on the garage door to greet Helen when she returned from work. Mr. T went back into retirement at the end of the Christmas season.

Now, just when you least expected it, Mr. T has returned. In May we went with Gary and Iris Enoch to the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. Mr. T, who had been sleeping in the basement, decided that he would go with us. This is the first time that Mr. T had gone on a vacation. You can tell by the accompanying pictures that Mr. T really enjoyed himself. Go to the next page for the rest of the story.
