While campaigning many candidates are meeting too many citizens in a state of political paralysis. It's downright depressing and indicates the people are failing at their self governing responsibilities in our constitutional republic.
I have found many who do not not know their representatives, county, state or federal. Obviously this is directly related to the people's attention being absorbed by managed news and incredibly powerful propagandizing of frivolous distractions. Think about it.
This is spite of the fact that detailed information on incumbent Missouri state representatives including their recorded votes are now available via the internet.
History will repeat and this country will not remain free unless the people get over their passivity and indifference, study their state and U.S. Constitutions and immediately demand all levels of government to strictly follow it.
