1969-70 season saw the controversial formation of the Los Angeles Hockey Club with 'select' teams playing up one division all year versus GLAMHA teams. Not all Glamha clubs would release players.

1970-71 Southern California, State and Regional Champions Los Angeles Hockey Club Bantams
Defeated San Diego 9 to 0 and 12 to 2.
Defeated Northern California's Belmont Bantams 3 to 1 and 8 to 2.
Became Western Regional Champions by defeating Alaska 9 to 2 and Portland 3 to 2.
