Shell Knob Memorial Post 2203
was chartered on February 14, 1987 with 48 charter members. The Post now
boasts of 150 plus members and is recognized as one of the most active
Posts in District 7, Mo. Dept. of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

PM. Treats and fellowship following the meetings.
Mini-meeting each Thursday, 9-11 AM. Do-nuts,

V.F.W.OBJECTIVES
Are fraternal, patriotic, historical
and educational: To preserve and strengthen comradeship among it's members:
To assist worthy comrades: To perpetuate the memory and history of our
dead, and to assist their widows and orphans: To maintain true allegiance
to the government of the United States of America, and fidelity to it's
constitution and laws: And to preserve and defend the United States from
all her enemies, whomsoever.
Eligibility:VFW
membership is available to all U.S. Citizens, honorably discharged from
the U.S.Armed Forces and who have earned an overseas campaign medal. (Note:
A 1995 VFW Congressional Charter amendment makes eligible all those who
have served 30 consecutive days or 60 non-consecutive days on the Korean
Peninsula or in it's territorial waters from June 30,1949 until the present
day)
