    Auxiliary Electronic Directory Login - the Directory is based on data from the AUXDATA system.  To access the system, you must enable your account by "activating" it.  To activate your account, you must have a valid, current email address in the AUXDATA system.  You will be asked for your Employee ID and the Zip Code on file in AUXDATA.

  • USCG Finance Center - reimbursement status

    •  Patrol orders - use this site for checking on reimbursement status of patrol orders.  Microsoft Explorer browser should be used.  Enter the patrol order number.  If reimbursement has been processed by the Finance Center you will be able to view the reimbursement detail.  If reimbursement has not yet been processed by the Finance Center, a message will appear that reads: "No Auxiliary Reports Meeting your criteria".  You should then try at a later date.  Reimbursement information for a given order is available for 3 months following its posting.

    • Travel Orders - Obtain a Travel Voucher Summary.  This is a 3-4 page report, generated when you submit a Travel Claim (note this is for Travel only...not Patrol Orders), that breaks your travel down by line items.

  • Vessel Safety Check website - contains links to a Virtual VSC, Q&A, Surveys, Announcements, USCGAUX V Dept. and a link to request a VSC.

  • AIRS (Auxiliary Internet Resource Site) - provides all the "interactive" information for webmasters (individual site status updates, etc.)

  • Communication Services Guide - provides all "static" information (policies, procedures, etc.) for webmasters.

  • List of insurance discounts available from major carriers for boating safety education and optional safety equipment.  The Coast Guard's Office of Public Boating compiled the list.

  • Marine Navigation Calculator  - this site provides links to a multitude of nautical calculations ranging from time/distance/speed, weather data conversion, celestial navigation to log and trig calculations.

  • Recreational Boating Safety  - page contains an index of links related to the subject.  Links furnished by the Office of the Chief Director of the Auxiliary.

  • Missouri residents only (Fuel Tax Refund) - Interested in a 17 cents per gallon refund on motor fuel (gasoline, diesel and kerosene) used to operate off-road equipment (i.e. boat, lawn mower, etc)?  Select Motor Fuel Refund.  This link will advance you to the (DOR) Missouri Department of Revenue, Taxation and Collection, Motor Fuel Tax Forms webpage.   Consultation with your tax advisor is recommended.

  • Safety Documentary describes an incident on Pomme de Terre lake where a boater failed to cover battery terminals on a bass boat resulting in complete destruction of the bass boat.  Print the page and use the documentary to reinforce the need for a Vessel Safety Check.

  • Commander Bob's Boating Safety Notebook -   2001 National Winner - National Safe Boating Council "Boating Educational Advancement Award".  The site provides accident statistics, float plan information, safety tips for PWC, trailering, canoes and kayaks, nautical glossary, knots, trivia plus numerous links to other informative sites.

  • Marina Operators Association of America (MOAA) - the national trade association of the marina industry.

  • Float Plan -  a website devoted exclusively to promoting the use of the Float Plan.  It provides Auxiliarists and Flotillas with products that support and promote this "Lifesaving Device on Paper".  The Home Page covers five key areas: 1) Definition of what a Float Plan is; 2) Getting the downloadable "Plan"; 3) Help on how to use a plan and on how to prepare a Plan; 4) What's new at Float Plan Central; and 5) support products for Webmasters, Public Affairs and Public Education Staff.

  • Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 - contains an overview of the act, implementation, who it applies to, other initiatives and programs, examples of vessels and facilities most directly impacted by the regulations.  (Adobe - 388 KB)

State Boating Laws

  • The Handbook of Missouri Boating Laws and Responsibilities - the complete handbook is on-line.  The site offers an HTML version and a PDF version.  The HTML version will open in your browser.  The PDF version requires the Adobe AcrobatTM Reader software which may be downloaded free of charge.   To download the Adobe AcrobatTM Reader just select any of the "Get Acrobat Reader" logos on this page.

  • Missouri has mandated boating education for vessel operators on Missouri waters born after January 1, 1984 effective January 1, 2005 for residents and January 1, 2006 for non-residents.  Details and exemptions of section 306.127 of the statute can be viewed in  Adobe format.  Additional information is available on the Missouri State Water Patrol webpage.

  • Arkansas Boating Laws

  • State-Specific Boating Laws - site contains a U.S. map from which the user can select a state of interest to access state law and information that the state boating agency has determined is important for inclusion in safety courses.

  • National Training Department - training resource center.

  • Auxiliary C-School links

    • Auxiliary C-School Portal - designed as a one-stop portal for all USCG Auxiliary members looking for information about Auxiliary C-School programs.

  • e-Training - a website developed by the Director of the Auxiliary, 7th Coast Guard District, from which Microsoft â  PowerPointâ presentations may be downloaded.  Presentations range from AUXOP specialty courses, NavRules, VSC to flotilla training and basic qualifications.  These presentations may be used by members of District 8WR.  The presentations are unofficial training aids, and, in some cases need to be reviewed to reflect local operating procedures. The presentations may be modified to adjust for local conditions.

  • AuxeTrain - National Training Department web services for members 

  •  e-Testing - a website developed by the Director of the Auxiliary, 7th Coast Guard District, from which members may take Vessel Examiner, Instructor and Marine Dealer Visitor qualification tests on their computer.  e-Testing may be used by members of District 8WR.

  • AuxOp Proctors for on-line testing - District 8WR

  • Qualification forms - a website developed by the Director of the Auxiliary, 7th Coast Guard District, which provides forms for Annual Currency Maintenance plus VE, MDVand Instructor qualifications which may be completed on-line and submitted electronically.  These forms may be used by members of District 8WR.

  • Program description and course outline for:

  • Knowing your knots or select - explains when to use certain knots and illustrates how to tie them.

  •  CG Learning Portal  provides “one-stop” access to information on training, educational benefits and training support.  Specifically, the Learning Portal links to job training, specialty training, on-line training, enlisted performance qualifications, professional development, financial aid, college credit for work experience, educational opportunities through Veterans Benefits, information on SAT preparation, and more.  The site provides access to on-line courses such as SmartForce IT Training. Users can read news and articles about upcoming developments in Learning Tools and advancements in methods of delivering training.

  • AUXDATA - entrance page (To browse the site it is best to use Internet Explorer Browser, Version 5.0 or later.) You must also install Citrix.  The link to download Citrix is found under the Application Links on the AUXDATA webpage.  Once Citrix is downloaded you must install it.  Contact your Information Services Officer for your ID and Password.

  • AUXDATA and CGINFO - tutorial for entering and browsing the sites.   The tutorial opens in MS PowerPointâ.  Therefore, you must have MS PowerPointâ software on your computer or the MS PowerPoint Viewerâ (download the Viewer free).  You may download the PowerPointâ presentation to your computer by right clicking the tutorial link then selecting "Save as".  Select the "Slide Show" icon to run the tutorial within PowerPointâ.

  • America's Boating Course - the actual course on line

  • Incident Command System (ICS-100) Orientation Training - designed to help the student understand the principles of the Incident Command System and to briefly acquaint the student with the basic ICS structure and terminology.
