As members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, we will provide service and support for the Coast Guard and our communities by maintaining all necessary qualifications and practicing professionalism in our actions.   We will provide an example of the Coast Guard core values by executing the best that is in us whether we are in or out of uniform.  

The leadership and members of the Eighth Western Rivers District will complete the missions of the Coast Guard and the Auxiliary with a level of Excellence that will bring us to the highest level of growth and improvement of any district.   We will achieve this by adhering to the commitment of our membership and elected officer pledges.  The spirit of volunteerism will be evident in the strength of our team efforts.

Our members will keep honor, respect and devotion to duty the hallmarks that guide our actions and bring our district to a level of Excellence in Every Action that will be recognized throughout the auxiliary.   We will be viewed as the most successful district in achieving the cornerstone missions  of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
