while serving as the "Float Plan Central" Webmaster from January 2003 to
September 2007. Displaying keen foresight and technical skill, you
created "Float Plan Central" to provide recreational boaters with a free
and easy web-based method to create personalized float plans whenever
needed. You then enhanced this remarkable software application by
developing the "Boating Emergency Guide" that provided step-by-step
guidance for handling a crisis while underway. Your outstanding
contributions to create, build, and maintain "Float Plan Central"
significantly enhanced the Coast Guard Auxiliary web site, drew
approximately 500 visits every day, and established this unique system as
a premier safety tool for boaters to craft their own float plans." |
