"You
took the faltering Public Affairs Program within the flotilla and gave it
new life. You worked tirelessly with crime prevention groups in McLean and
DeWitt Counties to secure funding support for the U.S. Department of
Homeland Security and U.S. Coast Guard’s America’s Waterway Watch
Program. You worked with Coast Guard Headquarters staff and with signage
manufacturers to prepare the first in the nation America’s Waterway street
signs. These signs have been placed in the areas such as critical dams
and infrastructures at Bloomington Lake, McLean County Lake, and Clinton
Lake/Clinton Nuclear Power Station, Illinois." |
