Pre-formatted AUXINFO Reports for District 8WR Divisions

The reports will open in a new window and this window will remain open. The new window status  will appear in your status bar at the bottom of your browser.   Due to the level to which the reports have been "drilled down" it takes a while for the complete report to appear.  This window will appear in both windows until the new window begins downloading.

Commodore's Flotilla Honor Streamer Award

The following tools are provided to help flotillas develop data, record information and determine at a glance the flotilla progress towards achieving the award.   Complete details about the award is available on the District Awards website.

Division Captains are to certify all qualifying flotillas to the District Award Chairperson by February 1 following the year in which the award is earned.  The certification form is available in MS Word (57 KB) and Adobe Acrobat (97 KB).

Award Worksheet

The above image displays a sample COMO Flotilla Honor Streamer Award worksheet designed to simplify recording and determining flotilla progress towards meeting the award requirements.  The worksheet is in MS Excel (21KB) and may be downloaded for your use.

The Member Training, Operations and Vessel Safety Checks variable data may be obtained from the respective pre-formatted AuxInfo reports.  The division link will reveal a report that contains all flotillas for the respective division.  Select the information from the report that applies to the user's flotilla.

Award Variables - Pre-formatted AuxInfo Reports - 2010 data

Note:  Due to the size of the MT & OPS reports it was necessary to develop separate pre-formatted reports for each category.  To arrive at the combined MT variable value for the Award, the total value on each MT report must be added together.

Likewise, the OPS reports must each be added together to arrive at the OPS value for the Award.  Additionally, the OPS Patrol & Training report shows both lead and non-lead time.  The cumulative lead and non-lead total on each report should be used.

Recreational Boating Safety Device

Preformatted reports in AuxInfo and an MS Excel worksheet (worksheet not currently available as award criteria currently being revised) have been developed to assist members who are interested in following their progress towards earning the Recreational Boating Safety device.  The preformatted reports reflect all members in the respective division who have earned points in a given category for a particular year.  The points by category for a member can then be inserted into the MS Excel worksheet which will total the points earned in all categories.

The device is earned based on points earned over a two year period.  The preformatted reports give a year-to-date accumulation of points by category for the current year.  The user must change the calendar year on the preformatted report to view the points earned in the prior year.  As members reach the points required in the given period of time, AuxData will automatically generate for DirAux the names of members who have qualified for the device. Learn more about the device.  Also, browse the U.S. Coat Guard Auxiliary Department of Boating website.
