Shell Knob Area |
Shell Knob is an unincorporated area located where Highway 39 crosses Table Rock Lake. While it appears to be a small town, the area population is over 10,000 people whose homes are spread over a large area which accounts for the uncrowded conditions that exist.In and around Shell Knob there are a number of eating establishments that include several family style restaurants, a steak house, a Pizza Hut, and a Subway.There is a full service grocery store in Shell Knob that has a bakery and deli. There are several liquor stores, bait and tackle shops, marine repair and boat dealers, ski shop, lumber yard and hardware store, three banks (and three ATMs ). There is also a pharmacy, variety store, flea markets, gift shops and a laundromat. There are four convenience stores (one is open 24 hrs. a day). There is a marina just two miles from the resort where you can purchase fuel for your boat and rent personal water crafts. All of these businesses are located within five miles of the resort. And last but not least, we are 30 minutes away from a Wal-Mart Super Center that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |
